TEST PREP PROGRAM
SRVHS Academic Boosters sponsors programs from outside service vendors to assist students with 'mock or practice' test preparation, testing strategies workshops for Sophomores and Juniors, college application essay workshops for Seniors, and additional seminars for students and parents.
Attendees MUST register in advance to attend a session. All test prep events are normally held at SRVHS. During Covid shelter in place, all programming will be in a live online format.

To Register for an "Official" ACT or SAT Test session go directly to the test registration website, click on the links below.
For ACT/SAT information including practice test booklets, understanding the differences between the ACT and SAT, testing timelines, recommendations, etc for the ACT/SAT connect with the SRVHS College and Career or schedule an appointment to meet with a C&CC counselor.

TEST PREP EXAMS AND SEMINARS OFFERINGS MAY BE ONLINE OR IN PERSON
Click on the test preparation link to the left to register for a specific event.
Please do not show up to a test/seminar/workshop unless you have received a confirmation email. Your confirmation email is proof that we have received your payment and that there is a spot for you. Please check the email utilized when registering for updates as the event date draws near and/or for any last minute updates. Within one week prior to the event, you will also receive additional event details and updates.
If you do not see the confirmation email, please check your spam folder and mark: SRVHS.Academic.firstname.lastname@example.org as a safe sender so you receive all future communications and program updates.
WHAT TO BRING FOR ON EXAM DAY
- Students should bring TWO #2 pencils and a calculator (no cell phones as calculators).
- For writing seminars students should bring pencils or pens and a notebook.
- Water and snack are optional for any session.
FEEDBACK SESSIONS/TEST SCORES
Students/parents are encouraged to attend feedback sessions when offered. Feedback sessions are conducted by a representative from the Test Prep company who sponsored the practice testing opportunity.
CATALYST: SAT AND ACT BOOTCAMPS

SRVHS Academic Boosters frequently partners with Monte Vista and Dougherty Valley High School to make Catalyst SAT and ACT Bootcamps available to our students.
FINANCIAL POLICY- 72 hour notice
Mock ACT, SAT or Combo ACT/SAT Tests: WE DO NOT ISSUE REFUNDS but if you cannot attend a Mock ACT, SAT or Combo Test, a 72 HOUR NOTICE prior to the test date is required in order to keep a credit on file for the school year. The credit can be applied towards any test or seminar during the school year.
Boot Camps - Seminars: If you are a Sophomore and cannot attend a Boot Camp - Seminar*, a 72 HOUR NOTICE prior to the seminar date is required in order to keep a credit on file. The credit can be applied towards any test or seminar you take in the future through academic boosters. If you are a Junior or Senior and cannot attend a Boot Camp - Seminar, a 72 HOUR NOTICE prior to the seminar date is required in order to issue a refund. We would like to thank our test preparation vendors for supporting our ACT/SAT test prep and essay writing workshops. These vendors donate all, or a portion, of their fees to Academic Boosters which in turns facilitates the funding of the SRVHS College and Career Center.
