Young Healers Health Summit, Registration due June 20
July 17 at he John Muir Walnut Creek Medical Center
 In partnership with John Muir Health, Junior Achievement of Northern California is proud to launch our inaugural Health Summit—a unique event created specifically for high school students interested in exploring careers in healthcare. This dynamic, hands-on event offers students a unique opportunity to:
  • Hear from an inspiring panel of healthcare professionals
  • Participate in interactive healthcare workshops
  • Connect with mentors and advocates in a dedicated mentoring session
  • Engage in networking opportunities with peers and professionals
Student Requirements:
  • All students MUST register for this event
  • Incoming High School Juniors or Seniors
  • Interested in the Health Care Industry
  • Attend a school in Contra Costa County or Pleasanton Unified
 (Space is limited to 75 students. Students are encouraged to register as soon as possible. A waitlist will be available in case of cancellations.)
 
July 19: 5th annual Creative Youth Celebration at the Yerba Buena Arts Center in San Francisco
Here’s what you can expect:
  • Hundreds of creative works on display
  • Pop-up performances
  • Activations by program partners like: Museum of Craft + Design, Root Division, Women’s Audio Mission, MasterClass, Photomatica, Youth Speaks

Youth Ride Free with County Connection
County Connection has announced a new Youth Ride Free summer pilot program—offering fare-free rides on all bus routes for young people up to 18 years of age from June 1 through July 31. Youth riders can hop on any County Connection bus without needing a special pass or a Clipper card. It’s easy! Just get on and go!
