APRIL

$5,000, LPA Diversity in Design Scholarship, Opens in April
This scholarship is open to POC women who are California high school seniors pursuing a degree in architecture, landscape architecture, interior architecture/design, architectural engineering, structural engineering, building science, civil engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or related building or design degree.
 
Up to $1,000, Italian Catholic Federation, Due April 1
This scholarships is open to Roman Catholic high school seniors who meet the requirements for Italian ancestry or membership. The application requires an essay.
 
Multiple $500-$1,000 Men's College Scholarship, Due 8:59 p.m. April 1
The scholarship is designed to identify and reward outstanding high school seniors who have demonstrated an ability to excel in the fields of academics, extracurricular school activities, and community involvement. The scholarship is available to any male senior graduating from high school who is enrolling in a four-year undergraduate college program that commences in fall 2025. The scholarship is awarded through the Foundation for Fraternal Excellence, a registered 501(c)3 organization. Current or future membership in a fraternity is not required. Apply here.
 
Multiple East Contra Costa County NAACP, Due April 11 at 11:59 p.m., Opens March 3
Scholarships range in award amount, academic interests, age, need-based, merit-based and are open to outstanding Black students pursuing and undergraduate education. Applicants must be African American or persons of color who are graduating seniors with a 3.0+ GPA. 
 
$1,000+ NOBLE Scholarship, Due April 11
The San Francisco Bay Area Chapter of the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives (NOBLE) is committed to supporting the next generation of law enforcement and criminal justice leaders and is awarding an annual scholarship opportunity for students pursuing higher education with the intent to work within criminal justice-related fields or law enforcement professions. This scholarship award is designed to assist students who are passionate about making a difference in their communities through careers in law enforcement, criminal justice, or related disciplines. $500, Stone Valley Middle School PTA Senior Scholarship, Due April 14
Stone Valley Middle School PTA is offering a $500 scholarship award for a graduating High School Senior who is an alumnus of Stone Valley Middle School (SVMS).  The scholarship seeks to recognize a former SVMS student who has made a positive impact through volunteering, both in our schools and community.  
Qualifications:
● Attended and been promoted from Stone Valley Middle School in Alamo, CA
● Graduating from a San Ramon Valley Unified School District high school
● Membership in the PTA/PTSA unit at his/her high school is encouraged but not required; special consideration will be given to applicants involved in their PTA/PTSA
● Plan to attend an accredited college, university, community college, trade or technical school following graduation from high school
● Volunteered at his/her high school or in the community
 
$6,000, UNICO National Scholarships, Due April 15

$1,000 Academic Boosters Scholarship, Due April 17
$1,000 Athletic Boosters Scholarship, Due April 18
Ten Athletic Boosters Scholarships will be awarded to ten SRV Seniors. Apply here starting Feb. 14.
 
$250-$1,000 San Ramon Valley Rotary Scholarship, Due April 20
Formerly the Bill Gregory Scholarship, this scholarship is open to area high school students who show an extraordinary effort in community service and who have a real need for a scholarship are eligible for this scholarship. This scholarship requires an essay and a letter of recommendation. Multiple scholarships are awarded. Click here for more information and the application.
 
$500 Joshua Michael Liu Memorial Scholarship, Due April 21
This scholarship is open seniors graduating in June who are residents of Pleasanton, San Ramon, Livermore, Dublin, or Alamo and are active members of a church. Click here for more information.
 
$500, PTSA Senior Scholarship, Due April 30
This scholarship is for continuing education at a four year College or University, a Community College, or a Trade/Technical school. The award recognizes the achievements of students for volunteer services in the school and/or community. Click here for application. Click here for more information.
 
Two $1,000, Vivian Srouji Memorial Scholarship, Due April 30
This essay scholarship seeks to honor the life of former SRVHS Counselor Vivian Srouji by supporting SRVHS students who are preparing to begin their college careers. This application is open to seniors interested in attending UCLA or Berkeley.

MAY

 
California Scholarship Federation (CSF)
SRVHS has a chapter that students may join. Those who are active for at least four semesters (from second semester sophomore year to second semester senior year) and meet all requirements are eligible for the CSF Lifetime Membership Scholarship AKA Sealbearer their senior year of high school.
 
$1,000, Greenbrook Eagle Alumni Scholarship, Due: 9 p.m. May 1
This scholarship is open to all graduating high school seniors who attended Greenbrook Elementary and are PTSA Members. Click here to apply,
 
$1,000-$10,000, Kids' Chance of California, Due May 17
Students who have a parent who has been been fatally or seriously injured on the job are eligible to apply to this need-based educational scholarship. Applicants must be enrolled, accepted or applying as a full or part‐time student at a university, college, or vocational school. The school does not have to be in California. Financial need is demonstrated based on the Federal Expected Family Contribution (which is determined by the FAFSA). Student applicants and/or parent are not required to be a legal resident of California.
