With an overall annual scholarship and grant budget of over $160,000, CSEA offers $1,000 scholarships to dependents and spouses of CSEA members, helping many continue their education after high school. Must be the dependent of a CSEA member.

FEBRUARY SCHOLARSHIPS
$4,000 each for 350 students nationwide, Elks Legacy Award, Due Feb. 2, 2026 at noon
Legacy Awards provide $4,000 scholarships for children and grandchildren of dues-paying Elk members.
$500, BACC/AMBayArea Scholarship, Due Feb. 5
The Bay Area Community Colleges (BACC) and the Association of Manufacturers Bay Area (AMBayArea) -- a regional trade association of companies and organizations committed to helping manufacturers in the region -- are offering $500 scholarships to students taking community college classes towards a career in the manufacturing skilled trades.
$5,000, Alamo Women's Club, Due Feb. 18, 2026
This SRVUSD scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors and emancipated foster students and requires a 2.0 GPA or higher, one essay and two letters of recommendation.
REQUIREMENTS
- Needs financial support to meet educational/vocational goals
- Makes a strong commitment to continuing education either academically or vocationally
- Completes the AWC application
- Maintain a 2.0 GPA in all classes
- Writes a personal essay describing why they applied for the scholarship, what their educational/vocational goals are, and why they deserve
the scholarship - Submits two (2) letters of recommendation from either school counselors, staff members, teachers or community leaders
- Resides in Contra Costa County or attends a college in Contra Costa County
- Completes the Photo Release Form with required signature
- Returns the required documents by email no later than Feb. 18, 2026
- Previous AWC Scholarship recipients are eligible to apply
- Late applications will not be considered
- Scholarship checks must be cashed within 6 months of issue date
Up to $3,500, Several from the Danville San Ramon Rotary Club, Due Feb. 20
SRVHS graduating seniors attending a 2- or 4-year college or trade/vocational school in fall 2026 are eligible to apply. High school work, including courses taken and extracurricular activities should demonstrate that the student is ready for the challenge of college or a trade school.
$1,500 Tri Counties Bank Scholarship, Applications accepted Nov. 3-Feb. 25, 2026
Through a partnership with the Community Foundation of the North State, Tri Counties Bank provides meaningful college scholarships to deserving low and moderate-income students in the Bank’s footprint, as well as to other accomplished students in the communities we serve. The Bank has established an endowment through the Community Foundation of the North State to help sustain this important service, and provides additional funding totaling over $100,000 each year for scholarships awarded to higher-education bound youth (including community college, trade schools, and 4-year public and private institutions).
- Income Based — Sixty (60) $1,500 scholarships are awarded to students with a Student Aid Index (SAI) of $6,655 or less, and a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher.
- Merit Based — Twenty (20) $1,000 scholarships are offered to students with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher
$1,500, Patty Heart Memorial Scholarship, Applications accepted Jan. 23-Feb. 27
In memory of Patty Hart, the Danville Women's Club awards scholarships and educational gifts to a SRVHS senior to help with tuition, fees, books, supplies, computers, etc. This scholarship recognizes a senior student who has demonstrated a strong work ethic in their academics, school activities, community service, and employment experience. To apply students must have a 2.75 GPA or higher and full time fall enrollment to an accredited junior college, four-year college or university, or vocational school. Interviews will occur between March 17-27, 2026.
Up to $7,500, Several from the Danville San Ramon Rotary Rotary Club, Due Feb. 28
These opportunities are available to students at San Ramon Valley High School and Cal Hi for the 2025-26 academic year. There is one scholarship for $7,500 and several non-renewable scholarships for $1000 to $3000 for students graduating from SRVHS (or Cal Hi) and attending college or trade/vocational school in 2025. Attached is the application and information form that can be distributed to any eligible students. Applications are due February 21. (This is not limited to Interact Club students.)

MARCH SCHOLARSHIPS
$10,000 (75 nation-wide), James R. Hoffa Memorial Scholarship, Due March 2, 2026
This Fund is established solely to provide scholarships to the child or dependent of a member of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters who is attending an accredited four-year college, an accfedited training or vocational non-baccalaureate training program at a community college or other training institution.
$1,000-$6,000 Assistance League Diablo Valley High School Scholarships, Due March 20, 2026
San Ramon Valley seniors are eligible to apply for the following scholarships:
- Foster / Kinship: $1,000-$4,000 scholarship for any foster or kinship student applying to community college, vocational / technical / trade school, or a four-year college
- High School Senior: $2,000-$6,000 scholarship for students with a 3.0 or higher GPA who are applying to a four-year college
- Career Technical Education: $1,000-$3,000 scholarship for students with a 2.5 or higher GPA applying to vocational / technical / trade school
Each scholarship requires letter(s) of recommendation, a 500-word statement of purpose, and an interview in April. Some also require a copy of Student Aid Index from FAFSA, transcripts, or other verifying information.

Each year, the CCAR Scholarship Foundation awards scholarships to local students pursuing higher education, including college, university, and trade school programs. $3,000 Ivy and Pearls Foundation Scholarship, Due March 31
The Ivy and Pearls Foundation was developed in 2005 to provide service projects and scholarships in the cities of Palo Alto, East Palo Alto and surrounding areas. The formation of the Ivy and Pearls Foundation has expanded the philanthropic efforts of Rho Delta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, by giving us the ability to provide scholarships that support educational endeavors of college students, and to expand our reach in providing excellent service projects in the local area.
- Applicants must be of African or African-American descent
- Applicants must reside in San Mateo County, Santa Clara County, Alameda County, San Francisco City/County or Contra Costa County
- Applicants may be female, male, or non-binary
- Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale
- Applicant must be a high school senior, graduating in Spring 2025
- Applicant must be accepted to a two-year, four-year, or vocational college and show proof of enrollment before scholarship funds will be dispersed.
APRIL SCHOLARSHIPS
Truschke Foundation Scholarship, Due April TBA
The Truschke Foundation Scholarship is for eligible students who are a graduating San Ramon Valley High School senior (within 2 semesters) with specific documented learning disabilities who will enroll in a university, college, vocational or technical school program in the upcoming academic year. The Scholarship Committee will determine the number and value of scholarships awarded each year. Students who meet the eligibility criteria are invited to submit an application for consideration.
Application Process:
1. Student Essay/Introduction
The essay, 350 word minimum, must include:
- Future goals relating to education and/or career;
- Explain how San Ramon Valley schools impacted the applicant’s education;
- Describe and give one example of how you have had to persevere in achieving
personal goals despite learning challenges;
- Explain how parent/parents or guardian/guardians have impacted your education.
Essay should be written in Times New Roman; 12 point font; 1.5 spacing; and one inch margins.
Include in the header applicant’s full name, mailing address, phone and email address.

3. Copy of the admissions letter or proof of current enrollment from college or institution.
4. Signed Letters of recommendation from the each of the following:
A. Letter of recommendation from a current teacher;
B. Letter from a San Ramon Valley Community representative who is actively engaged
in the community;
C. (Optional) Letter of recommendation from school official or coach.

$500, Stone Valley Middle School PTA Senior Scholarship, Due April 15
Stone Valley Middle School PTA is offering a $500 scholarship award for a graduating High School Senior who is an alumnus of Stone Valley Middle School (SVMS). The scholarship seeks to recognize a former SVMS student who has made a positive impact through volunteering, both in our schools and community.
Qualifications:
● Attended and been promoted from Stone Valley Middle School in Alamo, CA
● Graduating from a San Ramon Valley Unified School District high school
● Membership in the PTA/PTSA unit at his/her high school is encouraged but not required; special consideration will be given to applicants involved in their PTA/PTSA
● Plan to attend an accredited college, university, community college, trade or technical school following graduation from high school
● Volunteered at his/her high school or in the community
● Attended and been promoted from Stone Valley Middle School in Alamo, CA
● Graduating from a San Ramon Valley Unified School District high school
● Membership in the PTA/PTSA unit at his/her high school is encouraged but not required; special consideration will be given to applicants involved in their PTA/PTSA

$250-$1,000 San Ramon Valley Rotary Scholarship, Due April TBA
Formerly the Bill Gregory Scholarship, this scholarship is open to area high school students who show an extraordinary effort in community service and who have a real need for a scholarship are eligible for this scholarship. This scholarship requires an essay and a letter of recommendation. Multiple scholarships are awarded. Click here for more information and the application.
$500, PTSA Senior Scholarship, Due April TBA
This scholarship is for continuing education at a four year College or University, a Community College, or a Trade/Technical school. The award recognizes the achievements of students for volunteer services in the school and/or community. Click here for last year's information.
MAY SCHOLARSHIPS
Two $500, Noia Freitas Scholarship, Due May 4, 2026 at noon
This scholarship was established in memory of Julia Margaret Noia Freitas and Joseph Francisco Freitas, Jr. (San Ramon Valley Pioneers) by their daughter, Mildred Freitas, a 1936 graduate of SRVHS. Candidate selections will be made by an SRVHS administrative committee. Up to two scholarships of $500 will be awarded at the Senior Awards Ceremony. To release funds, send proof of college/vocational enrollment in fall of 2026 to SRV's financial analyst. Each Applicant must:
1. Be female
2. Have attended SRVHS for all of 9-12th grades
3. Have a cumulative, unweighted GPA of between 3.0 and 3.9 (must be within this range as indicated on SRV 7th semester transcript = Cumulative GPA unweighted) to be eligible.
4. Plan to enroll and begin study at a 2 or 4 year college, or a technical/vocational school immediately following graduation.
