Asian Pacific Islander Coalition for Health Against Tobacco
API-CHAT is a non-profit organization that works with community leaders to address tobacco-related health disparity issues in their city through policy. This organization has opportunities for students, including a $3,500 mini grant and a paid public health internship. I've attached the flyers for those opportunities below and we'd deeply appreciate it if you share them with your students.

Be a part of changing healthcare to better serve patients through this health care organization. Responsibilities may vary but some of the general responsibilities examples include:
  • A Human Resources intern may attend department meetings, help with research projects, organize electronic personnel files, help with data entry and answer basic inquiries from employees or partners
  • Educational sessions included in the program such as learning more about communication tools, building your brand and influence, emotional intelligence, and a resume workshop. 
 
 
The Opportunity

  • Collaborate on specific projects, offer assistance, and contribute fresh ideas.
